Cover StarKid On Tumblr Day is a silly project that FYD kind of wanted to get going. Basically, anyone who wants to participate Tumblr-wide should call into Tumblr and make a voice post of him/herself singing or playing a StarKid song. You can also get super-fancy on us and make a video or something! And it can be any song you want from any of the four shows, or even not-quite-StarKid songs like perhaps one of Darren’s originals or something from Doppelganger. The point is that we want as many participants as possible. And then we’ll collect them all into one place! Once you’ve done a phone/video/whatever post that you’re satisfied with, use FuckYeahDikrats’s Ask or Submit to get a link to us. We’ll compile a running list of who did what and then reblog them all back over to here to share with everyone! :)

It doesn’t matter if you’re a spectacular singer or a mediocre one; you don’t even have to sing, you can play any instrument you like. But we know this music has touched so many people, and everyone’s got a favorite. We want it all.

Cover StarKid On Tumblr Day will officially take place Sunday, September 12th, filling in for Submission Sunday here at FYD. Make sure you get anything you want to do to us by that point! And remember, please reblog this post to make sure as many people see it as possible!!
